QT Creator can easily to connect to a remote machine, then open, configure, build and run the project. You can open files from the remote machine so that linter tools parse it correctly, have suggestions and stuff. The problem is I can browse the files only using "Projects" selected.

What is really missing to enjoy full remote development is lack of possibilty to browse remote filesystem. If there would be a possibility to browse the files (with sftp for example) after opening remote project that would be a huge improvement. This would enable convenient work with bigger projects on remote servers with much more computational power than any laptop, without involving things like distcc.
