with a certain font installed, with certain settings, when you attempt to scroll to the bottom of the file, the scroll bar stops before the content is revealed. remaining content is inaccessible via scroll bar

1. install ProFont
2. go to preferences->text eidtor
3. select all text types in the list view below
4. above, select Family: ProFont, size: 11, zoom: 100%, line spacing: 90% (mac) or 82% (Win)
5. open a long file (over 1k lines)
6. attempt to scroll to bottom by dragging scroll bar "thumb" widget
