      The Go Back button in Help mode, and Previous Page in Edit mode should display the history for rapid navigation forward and back in time. The history should display after a delay.

      Opera has this feature. I use it all the time.

      Consider persisting the history information for a window. It makes it easy to return to a session after an absence.
