Description
The debugger is practically useless when working on Mac OS X 10.6.2.
1. It's awfully slow. It takes 4-5 seconds to switch show the yellow arrow on a breakpoint.
2. The Watch box is frozen most of the time. It either doesn't show any data, or the data is obsolete for dozen of lines.
3. If there is no action by the user for more than 10 seconds the debugger and the application crash.
@con:
How can I tell if I'm using Carbon or Cocoa? I installed the Qt Framework with the installer, didn't compile it myself. So, I presume whichever is default.
XCode version: 3.2.1 (1613)
gcc version: 6.3.50-20050815 (Apple version gdb-1346)
Gdb location: gdb
Gdb startup script: (empty)
Gdb is in my path, so just the command gdb is good enough to start it.
@hjk: It's quite big, so I attached it as a file.
