Git: wrong handling for partially staged file

    Description

      Committing a file that was changed since last staging commits not only the staged changes, but all changes.

      In the commit editor, there are two entries - one for the staged changes and the other for the unstaged ones. It doesn't matter which one you select, the file is being staged completely.
