      Hi there,

      did you ever consider supporting ANSI escape sequences http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ANSI_escape_code in the "Application Output"-pane.

      The attached Screenshot shows the color coded output of a Console Application in QtCreator and on a KDE konsole.
