That would be nice to have per project settings.
For example, I'm working on different projects from different clients with different code convention (tabs instead of space, 4 spaces instead of tabs...).
That would be nice to have a way to define per project settings for this kind of settings.
Another example: changing the background editor color depending of the project: imagine that you work on 2 different version of Qt, and on the same file, having different background colors would help you.
Finally, that would be even better to let plugins use per-project settings
