Description
At my office they have a proxy server which requires Windows domain credentials. When I open Qt creator, it immediately starts trying to connect through the proxy server as an anonymous user, rather than using my own credentials. This results in a huge log file on the proxy server, in which every second there is a failed connection as an anonymous user (very suspicious to the IT admin). As far as I can tell, there is no loss in functionality in the IDE itself, so I don't know which component is attempting this repetitive internet access.
This causes a problem when the IT department takes away my computer and thinks I have malicious softare on the network!
