Description
- Start Creator with enabled Qnx plugin.
- Go to "Tools" -> "Options..." -> "Devices" -> "Devices".
- Click "Add..." and create a new BlackBerry device by following the wizard and generating new SSH keys.
- Remove the device from step 3.
- Click "Add..." again and start creating a new BlackBerry device with the same name like the one used in step 3. Generate new SSH keys again.
- After generating the keys, click "Next" and "Finish".
The wizard will complain about existing keys, so you can't finish the wizard. - Go back to the "SSH Key Setup" page of the wizard.
The controls for setting the private key file are disabled. So you can't change anything. All you can do is to cancel the wizard and lose the settings you made.
This shows several bugs:
- The wizard should already warn about existing keys on the "SSH Key Setup" page, so the user does not waste time with generating some.
- If settings lead to some conflict, the user should always be able to go back and change these settings without losing all other settings.
- It should be possible to just overwrite existing keys. After an appropriate warning, of course.
