clicking on line number with shift doesn't select all lines from the current cursor position

Hi,

Instructions are simple.
1. open a file with some lines (10 lines is plenty already)
2. click anywhere in the text without shift pressed
3. now press shift and click on a line number above or below where ever you are right now

What you will see is that QtCreator will only select the current line (as if shift isn't pressed). If shift is pressed it should select all the lines till the current cursor position.

I don't know why this behavior changed but as far as i can tell it used to work just fine a couple releases back. Though i have seen this in 2.6.x till now so i don't know how far back you have to go.
