Pop-up menus or tool tips shown in a Qt Designer window always have their top right corner at the mouse pointer even if it leads to their contents being clipped by the edges of the screen. Symbol and file selectors in the Qt Designer tool bar also do not reposition their pop-up menus, which end up cut from the top (and bottom, if they are long enough).
