Deleting visual block removes one extra line when the selection starts on start of line and ends on end of another line

Using v2.8.0-beta-34-gd080c54 (but the bug has been around for months, maybe even longer):

• move cursor to start of line N, press "v" to go to visual seleciton mode
• move cursor to end of the next line (N+1)
• press "d" (or "y") – the action affects lines N to N+2 instead of N -> N+1
