Git diff output unusable with files containing Windows newlines

    Description

      I have no idea how to describe this one, so take a look at the screenshot.

      But it seems to occur only on files with CRLF line endings.
      after I changed the line endings to LF and made another change, the diff looked normal.

      Just open the file of the attached repository in Qt Creator and make a git diff.
