"Rename Symbol Under Cursor" looks broken in a new split

    Description

      1. Open a file and rename some local variable in a function - works.
      2. Split and try again. As soon as you type some characters you seem to get out of the "Rename mode" since the red selection/highlight is gone. The actual renaming still works.
