Issue & crash with split view and non-splittable editors

      1. open qt creator
      2. split the editor view
      3. open a non-splittable editor, e.g. git diff, in view 1
      4. open some other editor in view 2
      5. open the non-splittable editor in view 2 (e.g. through the combo box)
      6. --> the non-splittable editor moves to view 2, the other editor opens in view 1
      7. switch back to the other editor in view 2
      8. --> view 2 is in inconsistent state (combo box shows other editor, but non-splittable editor is actually still shown
      9. close qt creator
      10. --> crash
