Show (machine-parsable) progress information with maintenancetool --checkupdates

When you use the UI to check for updates, you get a nice progress bar for the fetching of the meta data. It would be good to get this kind of progress information also when running maintenancetool --checkupdates. That way Qt Creator could also show sensible progress information when checking for updates with the UpdateInfo plugin.
