When I install newest QtCreator as root in my /opt directory, the desktop/menu items are no more created (it worked in some older versions), so I have to do it manually. usr/share/applications doesn't contain any qt-related items.

Also QtCreator's bin is not in PATH env variable. The same for CMake, ninja, and other tools installed with Qt Installer. I am not sure if this is by design.
