I am creating an installer using Qt-IFW 4.1.1 in combination with CPack (cmake version 3.21.3) on Windows 10. QtIFW is not able to archive the installer. It provides an error message in the logs about that there is not enough memory to 7z an archive file. The archive will be quite big, since we do have assets in there of around ~1-2GB).

On Linux (ubuntu18) there is no issue though and it works. I saw some bug reports from a few years ago talking about the same issue. I still experience this issue. Is there any solution to this problem? Or perhaps workaround?

      The logs:

      # Run command: "C:/Qt/QtIFW-4.1.1/bin/binarycreator.exe" "-c" "C:/CI/workspace/sse_release_PR-44/buildRelease/_CPack_Packages/win32/IFW/xxxx-sse-3.3.0-win32/config/config.xml" "-p" "C:/CI/workspace/sse_release_PR-44/buildRelease/_CPack_Packages/win32/IFW/xxxx-sse-3.3.0-win32/packages" "C:/CI/workspace/sse_release_PR-44/buildRelease/_CPack_Packages/win32/IFW/xxxx-sse-3.3.0-win32.exe"
      # Output:
[897] Warning: QFile::remove: Empty or null file name
Caught exception: Cannot create archive "C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\Temp\binarycreator-ypItYU\assets\3.3.0assets.7z": not enough memory
