    Description

The following is the list of the respective Gerrit changes for reviewing the translation strings. It would be most helpful if you could make the necessary edits to the changes directly (if any), but comments are also ok. Some of the changes contain strings that were introduced after the 4.2 release and are not yet translated, it would be great if you could also fill these in.

      1) Only the diff needs to be reviewed:

      https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qtsdk/tqtc-qtsdk-installer-extensions/+/387801

      https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/installer-framework/installer-framework/+/384887

      https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/installer-framework/installer-framework/+/387687

      2) Whole .ts file(s) needs to be reviewed:

      https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qtsdk/tqtc-qtsdk/+/384934

      https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qtsdk/tqtc-license-managing/+/384932

      https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qtsdk/tqtc-qtsdk-installer-extensions/+/384930

      https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qtsdk/tqtc-qtsdk-installer-extensions/+/374149

If you want to, you can also test the translations in action with the Qt Online installer:

Get the Qt Online installer for your platform from http://ci-files02-hki.intra.qt.io/packages/jenkins/tqtc-installer-framework/master/latest/tqtc-installer-framework/
Installer picks up your system language, in case you are not using the language you are reviewing then you can use

      • Linux: LANG=<your language, for example ko> ./qt-unified-linux-x64-4.2.0-online.run
      • Windows and macOS: did not find a workaround, system language is used

Run the installer from command line:
      1. Run the installer with ./qt-unified-linux-x64-4.3.0-online.run
      2. Login with opensource account (you can use this in case you don't have your own: rta.test48@theqtcompany.com (password found from page https://intranet.qt.io/display/QTRD/Qt+licenses+-+Qt+accounts+-+Qt+credentials , prefix the pwd with "qa.."))
      3. After login select the "Settings" button from left bottom corner -> select "Repositories" -> Uncheck the "Qt <platform> Maintenance Tool online repository" (this will force the maintenance tool to be written from the current installer that contains the necessary translations, instead of from online repository, so that you can also verify MT texts)
      4. Install and verify that localizations make sense
      5. Run the installed maintenance tool to check the localizations

Note that the server messages are not currently enabled for the languages to be reviewed and appear in English (those are seen only in the login page). Repositories are not yet built with the translations so you will see some of the messages still in English, like in the telemetry ("Contribute to Qt Development") page.

      Schedule suggestion:

group 1) verify only the diff:

      • it would be good to get this verified by mid-February so that the fixes will be part of the next Installer release

group 2) verify whole .ts file:

      • verification can be done during the H1/2022. If something can be verified by mid-February, that's great!
