Optimize cache update

    Description

      Cache is updated on every launch of installer. As this is a bit time consuming operation at least with slow network connections, we could optimize this for example with a CLI switch (just a suggestion, there can be better ideas) so that only the cache is read and it is not updated. This would make the component search for example a whole lot faster
