Qt Installer Sprint 70
Description
Qt Maintenance Tool 3.2.3 on Windows is not able to uninstall Qt without being able to contact the Qt servers, even though uninstallation does not require logging in to the Qt account or downloading anything.
Reproduction steps:
- Download the open source Qt online installer on a Windows 10 machine from https://www.qt.io/download-qt-installer
- Log in using an existing account
- Install using the default settings
- Right-click the Windows Start button
- Select Settings
- Select Network & Internet
- Select "Change adapter options"
- For each active network adapter, right-click the adapter and select "Disable" to disconnect from the Internet
- Right-click the Windows Start button
- Select "Apps & Features"
- Select "Uninstall" for the Qt entry
- Approve privilege escalation for MaintenanceTool.exe
- Notice that the maintenance tool displays an error, "Failed to connect to server. Check your network connection and try again." instead of uninstalling, and clicking the Next button fails to advance.
