Qt Installer Sprint 119
Description
Environment:
- Operating System: Windows
- Qt Maintenance Tool Version: 4.9.0
- Qt Version Affected: 6.7.3 and 6.5.8
Description:
I encountered an issue where uninstalling a specific Qt version does not actually remove it from the system. Even after completing the uninstallation process, the supposedly deleted version remains on my device. When I restart the Qt Maintenance Tool, the version I attempted to remove is still listed as installed.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open the Qt Maintenance Tool.
- Uncheck a specific Qt version to uninstall.
- Proceed with the uninstallation process and wait for it to complete.
- Check the system directory where Qt is installed and notice that the files are still present.
- Restart the Qt Maintenance Tool.
- Observe that the uninstalled version is still listed as installed.
Expected Behavior:
- The selected Qt version should be completely removed from the system.
- Upon restarting the Qt Maintenance Tool, the uninstalled version should no longer appear as installed.
Actual Behavior:
- The uninstalled version remains on the system.
- Restarting the Qt Maintenance Tool still shows the deleted version as installed.
Additional Information:
- I cleared cache before attempting to uninstall it again.
- I have sufficient disk space and administrator privileges.
- No error messages were displayed during the uninstallation process.
Please investigate this issue, as it prevents proper version management using the Qt Maintenance Tool.
