      I recently noticed the following problem:

      • I installed two .lnk files pointing to the same executable (with different CLI arguments) in the same Start Menu directory;
      • only one of the two links appears in the Start Menu.

      This behaviour is due to the Start Menu indexing logic introduced with Windows 10 1511.
      To make both shortcuts appear, you need to set the Extended Property System.AppUserModel.ID to the .lnk file (e.g. using PowerShell commands).

      I think it would be useful to be able to set this property with a dedicated Operation.
