Environment variables changes are not propagated to the system.

During the installation process, my installer sets an environment variable using the "EnvironmentVariable" operation.
The variable is created and visible in the System Properties dialog.

However, the installed application doesn't see it.

I have to log off/log on or edit the variable via the System Properties dialog to propagate to the system.
