Description
After reading the various bug reports and issues with the OS and styles, I'm opening a bug because it appears that for instance the watermark tag does not work. I've alternated some with the other image based tags such as logo and it too does not work. It's possible that this is the result of something with the template binary.
I have tried this with and without a qrc file, and reviewed the frameworks installer and the mainline Qt installer and found basically no differences, so I am not sure what the issue is. Recompiling to get a simple image is pretty silly, I will just switch to another framework if it really involves that much effort.
the config.xml file is a direct copy/paste of the installer frameworks config.xml file found here: https://qt.gitorious.org/installer-framework/installer-framework/source/08701a6962aec6385daf6e00408ee877913e02c4:dist/config/config.xml
The image in question is literally the watermark.png listed there as well as I switched it out thinking it was perhaps a sizing issue.
The command to
C:\qt\QIFW-1.5.0\bin\binarycreator.exe -c config\config.xml -p packages installer
Alternatively, I have tried it with a QRC file with the png in question and the QRC file in the config directory.
I've noted that the image gets renamed to watermark_png.png during the process and have tried messing around a bit with it that way, and also went a portion of the way reading the assembly and single stepping through the resulting installer before i concluded this was pure madness and should just use another framework if I am literally having to put this much effort into it.
I've also noted that neither the 1.4.0 or 1.5.0 installers for QtIFW actually display their watermark either.
