Component gets removed instead of being updated

This can be reproduced in "online" example:
1. Do the things described in README of the example. Provide and update.
2. Run the maintenance tool of the installed example.
3. Choose "Update components", click 2 times next button and stop at "Ready to Update Packages" page. You can see that the installation will occupy 87 bytes.
4. Click 2 times back button and select "Add or remove components", click "Next" button once, than click "Back" button once.
5. Choose again "Update components", click 2 times next button and stop at "Ready to Update Packages" page. Now you see that the installation will occupy 0 bytes. When you click "Update" and "Finish", you can see that component A got uninstalled instead of being updated.
