    Description

      When doing a fresh install MaintenanceTool.dat and MaintenanceTool.exe with .new extensions are left behind after successful installation.

      Steps to reproduce the issue
      1. Do a fresh Qt install
      2. Check the installation directory

      Expected outcome:
      No .new extension files exist

      Actual outcome:
      Files with .new extension exists
