Description
If you watch an issue and it gets closed you don't see it anymore in the watched issues gadget. It is reasonable in a sense that one hardly ever wants to see really old closed issues. But...
But now the situation is that if an issue gets closed the only way to get to it (and see final comments, resolution, maybe git commit stamp [to apply the fix to one's old version of qt, esp. if the fix is in git only for a future branch] etc.) is to follow the link from the mail. The issue simply disappears from watched issues gadget. If you are the reporter you can search for "your" items which are closed now. But if you are not a reporter then basically you have no way to review such previously watched issues.
Basically, if I don't react to the mail informing about the status change, I will never get to this old item again. To find the solution (for an issue which I did watch, I was interested in the solution to it!) I have to search for it again in the regular way...
I think the simplest solution would be to include closed items in the "watched issues gadget". If I see there a closed item that I'm no longer interested in it takes only two clicks to "stop watching".
(A maybe even nicer solution would be to have such closed watched items in a separate new gadget; but it is disputable whether it is better => including closed issues in current gadget would be very clear and good enough).
