.avif image format supported by browsers but rejected by JIRA

      .avif is an image format which supports animations. It compresses very well compared to animated gifs.

      This Jira installation rejects showing of .avif files that are embedded in comments:
      Unable to embed resource: PinnedMessagePopupNotGettingMouseEvents.avif of type application/octet-stream

      Browsers these days support .avif, can our Jira instance allow embedding .avif in comments?
