    Description

The attached file init-repository.out has the log output after calling the ./init-repository perl script.

An observation: while cloning the qtnetowrkauth repository from code.qt.io the default branch is set to 5.8, while cloning the repository from the github mirror ends up with HEAD pointing to void:

      git clone https://github.com/qt/qtnetworkauth.git
      Cloning into 'qtnetworkauth'...

      Receiving objects: 100% (340/340), 208.12 KiB | 0 bytes/s, done.
      Resolving deltas: 100% (177/177), done.
      Checking connectivity... done.
warning: remote HEAD refers to nonexistent ref, unable to checkout.

It might be a good thing to set the default branch on github regardless of this issue.
