    Description

Create a blog post for Qt internal use and illustrate the collaboration with the Universities.

      Content:

Qt is continuing the collaboration with the local universities in the city of Oulu. Qt has a major product development site in the Oulu. There are two universities; the University of Oulu and the Oulu University of Applied Sciences (OAMK).

Collaboration with the first contains Qt company presentations, joining annual Pesti Career Day and planned collaboration with information technology related student guilds (SIK,  OTITBlanko). There are also plans to promote the use of Qt in the educations. Software engineer Timo Aarnipuro is driving this.

Collaboration with the OAMK contains also Qt company presentations. Strike squad from the Qt Release team described the project work opportunities to students in the mid-November. The purpose is to gain visibility and make Qt technology and Qt company better known. This will help us in the recruitment that is supporting the strategic growth of the company.

Qt will also give an interesting presentation about Qt technology for the Internet of Things (Iot) in week 47 at OAMK, and local companies involved in IoT are present in addition to the staff and students. This seminar presentation will be given by Qt Senior Account Manager Vesa Kyllönen. There are also plans to give some lectures as visiting starts in the Qt related programming courses.
