      There was a case (https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qtqa/tqtc-coin-ci/+/262093) where already merged changes were changed to integrating status. This was related to a merge.

      This should not happen... there might be another bug how merges are handled.

      But to prevent this particular situation from happening again, more restrictive checks on status changes need to be added.
