We would like to create a new branch of Qt5 and some selected submodules in order to pilot the code to replace the dependency tracking of qt module repositories in qt5 with individual dependencies.yaml files.

Coin supports these files, but the files have not been introduced in any branch / repository yet due to the missing tool to automatically update their content. Such a tool is now under development and we would like to test it on a smaller branch.

Please create branches in the following repositories:

• qt5
• qtbase
• qtimageformats
• qtgamepad
• qt3d
• qtsvg

The branches shall all have the same name:

wip/yaml-dependencies

The starting point for each branch shall be the v5.13.1 tag in each repository.
