The licheck tool is a standalone executable, which is called by other tools to check license validity. The executable can be easily replaced by any other tool with the same way to circumvent the whole license check.

We need a licheck library, which can be (statically) linked to tools, requiring the license check. The library can be delivered as object code + headers to partners, who need it.
