Description
I was testing if some of the Design Studio UI tests could be run on virtual machines, instead of current physical test machines. Based on these experiences, debugging on VM's using desktop connection with OpenNebula should be a lot smoother than it currently is. These are the main issues that I noticed, that prevent working efficiently from RTA point of view:
- Copy/paste from your local computer to VM does not work
- Typing on VM: special characters like are not in the same place in keyboard as on your local computer. Typing anything is hard when trying to figure out where to find some specific character you need.
- Mouse movement (at least on Windows VM) does not work correctly, hard/almost impossible to focus mouse cursor in place where you want it.
- On macOS, desktop connection to VM is not possible at all (https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTQAINFRA-5815)
