      The QML Team needs a branch based on 6.8 to merge new qmlls features into 6.8 for QTBUG-128495. It would be nice to have the precheck and CI from 6.8 on that new branch.

      The new branch will be exclusively built via Github Actions (see QTBUG-126405) , and should be ignored by the release team.
