qt-testrunner.py used to deduce what executable is running on android, by looking at the --apk argument on the androidtestrunner command line.
Recently this broke, and all executables are recorded as androidtestrunner.
Reason seems to be that -apk is no longer passed on the command line. Instead -aab is used.
