Example app gets stuck in a black screen sometimes on a certain device

    Description

      Prerequisites:

      -Example app project open from 6.8 beta 3 (Java or Kotlin)
      -Pixel 3 (Android 12, API 31) connected via USB

      Steps:

      1. Set the device as the running device
      2. Run the app

      Result:

      App tries to start on the device, but gets stuck in a black screen. This has only occurred on this specific device and seems to happen quite rarely and is not easily reproducable. Re-running helps to resolve the issue most of the time.
