    Description

      Why?

      Cause

      • We want to be able to add QML Language Server inside Android Studio for better user experience.
      • Aim to get LSP supported

      Customer

      •

      Cruft

      • LSP API is commercial only in Jetbrains and Android Studio is open source
      • We can do it better as QML LSP comes from Qt too

      What?

      Definition

      • Investigate steps needed to implement QML LSP inside Android Studio.

      Demarcation

      • This might not cover Syntax Highlighting and only for code completion and all
      • Qt is dual licensed, so there should be option for both: commercial and non-commercial i.e. open source users - not just commercial ones

      Dependencies

      • Might mitigate/deprecate earlier work on QTTA-50
      • Might mitigate/deprecate QTTA-159
