For the CMake extra args, we could add a label right below the input field that gives an example with the most common args to provide and a link to the documentation of such cmake args and their format, similar to some other settings tab in Android Studio, for example see how Gradle compiler tab does it.

And for the Qt field for example we could have a link to the Qt maintenance tool or download page.
