qmake generates "legacy vcxproj"

      qmake -o project.vcxproj-tp vc project.pro

      generates vcxproj projects which are treated as "legacy Qt projects" by the plugin.
      Is that the expected behavior or what is the proposed workflow when using .pro files with Visual Studio?
