    Description

I need to build Qt projects for Windows Intel 64bit from within Visual Studio 2022 on Windows 11 ARM (in VMware Fusion on macbook M2). Visual Studio 2022 supports compiling for Intel 64 bit, but the Qt VS Tools addins won't install.

The "VISX Installer" reports "This extension is not installable on any currently installed products."  The VISX install log says the extension is not signed, but from a web search on VISX installer problems on ARM, signing is not the problem. Apparently there are deployment settings in the extension that need to be set for ARM.

Please fix this. I'm sure there are many other folks who need to build on Windows 64bit intel in a VM but have moved to M series macbooks and currently need to keep a second (inte) computer around to build for Windows intel.

Update: Even on Non Arm64, it installs and at the end gives message that "Extension is not signed" Attached is the log
