Description
Hi Miguel,
I stopped using QT and I won't use it in future. Thanks for all your efforts and help.
Kind regards
Gerhard
I am using both, the VisualGDB and the QT Creator (4.5.0) to generate qt based projects. The MainWindow.ui generated with VisualGDB loads within QT Creator without any problems and the controls can be edited there easily. The qt applications can be compiled and executed within the Qt Creator environment AND as VisualStudio 2017 project.
BUT: If you want to edit the ui file (for example to add some more controls or modify the layout), your plugin (newest version downloaded with the Visual Studio Extension and Updates facility) causes to crash and reboot Visual Studio 2017:
In both cases, ui files generated through QT Creator and ui files generated through VisualGDB, cause VisualStudio to crash after I tried to display the user interface defined with MainWindow.ui through a double click on the MainWindow.ui within Visual Studio 2017. The crash causes Visual Studio to reboot after 10-20 seconds while it obviously tries to load that ui-file. On top of the VisualStudio the following message (on yellow background) appears below the menu of VisualStudio after automated reboot of VS 2017:
"A previous session terminated unexpectedly. Disabling extension 'Qt Visual Studio Tools 2.1.2' might help prevent similar issues."
Do you have any idea how to get rid of that problem?
