Qt Project Settings Dialog - does not edit correct project when in "Property Manager" view

If you are in the property manager view (rather than the solution explorer) and then go to open the Qt Project settings dialog you are actually opening the settings for the project last selected in the solution explorer view. This is VERY misleading. You think you have just changed the settings for project X but you actually changed the settings for project Y. 

Recommendation.

EITHER prevent opening of the Qt project settings dialog unless in the solution explorer view (cheapskate but better than nothing).

OR figure out which project is selected in the CURRENT view!
