This issue happened to me and is a duplicate of QTVSADDINBUG-871 and QTVSADDINBUG-878. I don't know how to reopen a bug, so I created a new one.
The following reproduction steps are copied from QTVSADDINBUG-878:
- Right click on a project.
- Click Qt.Create New translation file.
A .ts file is added to the tree widget. But you will get a file-not-found message if you double click the .ts file. And if you use Windows File Explorer to browse to the folder, there's no .ts file.
