Have a service/system status page similar to https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/

In the last months several services provided have been down outside of traditional update/upgrades work. From what I have been using, I was hit several times with an application error for the forum which likely mean that it had reached some limits. code.qt.io also had issues but maybe not for everybody however this week-end it was completely unreachable which left users wondering what was happening. Several related threads / posts have been opened on the forum.

This ticket is to open a discussion about providing a system status page similar to those of other companies with user facing services that could serve as central information point when things are going awry. As examples:

https://www.dockerstatus.com/

https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/

There's always the GitHub mirror in case someone really needs a clone badly however knowing when one system has an issue or is just under maintenance could be beneficial all around.
