A parenthesis at the end of a link is not taken as part of the link

The text given there is:
As usual, GIYF: "link":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D_(programming_language).

The closing parenthesis is part of the link, but is actually not included in the link. Introducing quotes or a blank at the link's end did not change the situation.
