Kits are not written to `cmake-tools-kits.json` during the start-up

      Kits are not written into cmake-tools-kits.json under the following conditions:

      • The Qt installation root is in the default path.
      • The Qt Extension Pack is installed from the VS Code Marketplace.
      • The user clicks Set Qt Installation Root from the pop-up message.

      In this case, the kits are generated but not written into cmake-tools-kits.json.

      Generally, new users encounter this problem.
