DOM doesn't open the files in normalized form. That cause us always to deal with different line endings, for example, handling or '\r' character in the utility functions.

A likely main painpoint would be how qmlformat deals with endline terminators. Currently, it heavily uses platform specific newlines while rewriting the code. Also, a couple of test cases might be needed to adapt the change.
