      QOperatingSystemVersion has unusual comparison semantics: e.g., Mac and Windows versions are unordered w.r.t. each other. This reeks of partial_ordering. Figure out whether partial_ordering is, indeed, the correct ordering strength here, and then apply the comparison framework, if posssible. If not possible, discuss on ML.
